A tenant-in-common agreement is, essentially, a summary of the co-owners investment structure ensuring that the tenant-in-common investment is deemed real estate. Tenant-in-common investors are asked to sign many familiar documents as well as some tenant-in-common specific documents including but not limited to:
- Purchase and Sale Agreement
- Property Management Agreement
- Tenant-in-Common Agreement
- Call Agreement
- First Loan Agreement
In addition to the aforementioned documents, investors will be required to submit other legal and financial documents, including: a purchaser questionnaire, verifying the investor's accredited status and confirming how the title will be structured; closing and pre-closing documentation, tax returns and financial statements.
