Mr. Michael Franklin is Executive Vice President of FORT Properties, Inc. where his primary focus is the marketing and sales of FORT Properties' FORT offerings. Mr. Franklin is viewed as one of the pioneers of the TIC industry and is one of the three key executives responsible for creating CB Richard Ellis Investors' 1031 Exchange Program, prior to helping form FORT Properties.
Mr. Franklin brings over 20 years of financial products experience to FORT Properties, Inc. Mr. Franklin was President of National Franchise Capital, providing real estate financing for franchises on a national basis. He was also a Senior Executive with First Interstate Bank and The Hammond Company for more than 13 years where he gained extensive mortgage lending experience. Mr. Franklin is a frequent speaker at tenant-in-common events and recently participated in the Midwest Real Estate Conference Series in St. Louis, Detroit and Cleveland, the TIC Forum in Chicago, Real Estate Investment Conference in Minnesota, Exit Strategies for Commercial Real Estate Conference in Miami, as well as the Colliers National Conference in San Diego.
Mr. Franklin holds a B.S. from San Diego State University and completed the Owners, Presidents and Managers (OPM) Program at Harvard Business School and holds a Series 7 License.
